Chris Moeller
BIO: Chris Moeller was raised near the town of Newhall
in east-central Iowa. His mother taught Sociology and Women's Studies at
the University of Iowa and Kirkwood Community College. His father managed
the local grain elevator. Chris graduated from Iowa State University in
1997 with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. He worked as a
radio news reporter and producer in Des Moines for nine years before going
to work at his current position as a counselor on student loans. He's lived
in the Sherman Hill Neighborhood on District 66's west side since 1997.
A frustrated Democrat, he proudly joined the Green Party in 2008.
